We want it to be easy for you to come to church. We want you to experience a great time in worship and meet friendly people who will welcome you into the church. We know that first-time visits to any church raise many questions and concerns. Here's a quick look at some frequently asked questions that will hopefully give you a better idea of what to expect when you visit FCNB. Is There A Dress Code?
You will see anything from shorts and flip flops to suits and ties. God is concerned about the condition of the heart, not the condition of the clothes and so are we. Feel free to dress in whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
Where do I park and when should I arrive?
We have reserved parking spaces for first-time guests. These spaces are conveniently located in the 1st row of spaces directly across from the church office. If you need assistance, feel free to ask any of the greeters. We recommend you arrive about 5 minutes prior to the service you are attending. If you have children to take the Nursery we recommend arriving about 15 minutes early.
Is the church handicap accessible?
Yes. There is reserved handicap parking. Should you need a wheelchair to use or need assistance, please call the church office ahead of time and we'll be waiting on you to help you get to where you're going.
Where do I go?
Greeters are located at the front entrance to the main building and are available to direct you to a classroom for Bible Study, to the Sanctuary for worship, or to any specific ministry meeting area.
How are visitors recognized? The last thing we want to do is single you out or put you on the spot. We ask visitors to fill out a Connection Card located on the backside of the sanctuary seats and simply drop it in the offering plate so that we can have a record of your visit. We'll never ask you to stand up or call you out in any way. We want you to have a wonderful experience with the FCNB and we strive to create a friendly and comfortable environment to make you feel right at home. We have a free gift for you waiting at the WelcomeCenter located in the foyer for your first visit with us! All we ask is that you fill out the Connection Card and either drop it in the offering plate or simply bring it with you to receive you gift.
